Our old Breton stone cottage, comfortably accommodating up to 6 people, has been sympathetically renovated in the last few years to a high and luxurious standard whilst still retaining its French country charm. The cottage is available for rental throughout the year.  The cottage has electric heating throughout and a working wood burning stove in the comfortable spacious lounge, making the property ideal for renting out of season as well as enjoying the warm Brittany summers.

We bought the cottage primarily as a holiday home for us in 2006 for its tranquillity, excellent location and the cottage's spacious living and sleeping space. The cottage has been furnished to a high standard as our aim has been to create a home away from home for everyone to enjoy. As parents of a young child we have equipped the cottage with a good range of baby equipment to make your holiday as stress free as possible, more information is available in the accommodation section.

Cottage location

The cottage is situated in a small peaceful hamlet, close to the town of Plancoet but still deep in the tranquil Brittany countryside, it is excellently located close to the medieval town of Dinan and the lakeside town of Jugon Les Lacs renowned for its water sports. The Brittany coastline and its beautiful clean sandy beaches of St Jacut and St Cast are only 25 minutes drive away. The picturesque town of Plancoet, with its Michelin starred restaurant, large supermarket and 14th century church is 10 minutes away. Fresh croissants and bread are available in the local village which is only five minutes away by car.

The cottage is set in its own grounds of approximately a third of acre with a large landscaped garden ideal for both adults and children.
